Gossip City 2

Ihr wollt pink und blau? Ihr wollt Streifen? Ihr wollt einen Werbeblock einbauen können? Ihr wollt (vielleicht) Gossip City 2 für s9y!

Anmerkung: Gossip City 2 ist nichts für Code-Puristen. Die Optik ist klasse und war der Hauptgrund für diesen Port, der darunter liegende HTML-Code ist meines Erachtens, nun ja, unschön.

    If you don’t mind I’d like to point out some improvements :) .

    Firstly in all your themes you state this in the admin backend:

    “Enter number of links in the navbar (needs reload of the Manage Styles page) “

    Actually the reload is required because of a bug in s9y. To work around it in your theme replace this code in config.inc.php:

    Also in your theme even if there are no plugins in the right/bottom sidebar a blank bar shows at the bottom of the page. To fix that replace this in index.tpl:

    That is put all the divs inside the if structure.

    I hope you don’t mind these suggestions. I have been working on customizing your theme for one of my sites and I noticed these small bugs.

    Just for the record, let me cite Garvin on the config.inc.php patch: “This Patch is EVIL and has SEVERLY security impacts, can lead to people easily putting XSS on your page or changing the config of your blog without requiring a login”.

    You really don’t want to use this, I guess.

    I had no idea. I plead inexperience :(. I have been using similar code for over a year. Infact judebert went through some of it for one of his header image plugin. He didn’t notice it either. I am going to make a thread about it on s9y forums.
